The Eastgate Theatre in Peebles is a unique venue in a convenient location with a building that has a mix of contemporary interior, with historic exterior, that will lend a stylish backdrop to all your events or meetings.  The building was nominated as a finalist for the BBC design awards shortly after opening in 2004.

The venue has adaptable spaces that can be used for corporate events, meetings, private parties, conferences, wedding receptions, film parties, product launches and photo shoots. 

At ground level there is a welcoming foyer and café bar area.  The studio space on this level provides an adaptable meeting room.  Upstairs the auditorium seats 200 theatre-style, or, clear of seating, offers a large ballroom space.

The Eastgate is in the centre of Peebles and has extensive parking in the adjacent Eastgate car park.  The building has full disabled access with a large automatic door and a fully catered café bar facility as well as an external paved area with café tables – weather permitting

Additional Services
The Eastgate is customer-led in terms of providing for your event.   Staff are on hand to discuss your booking and tailor the service exactly to your needs. Catering can be arranged or you can self-cater, entertainment can be arranged and/or technicians provided.  On the day of your event or meeting a Duty Manager is on hand to make sure everything runs to plan.  From a 1 hour meeting for 6 people to a two day conference for 200 we are happy to assist.

The Studio Space
An adaptable space that has its own entrance foyer/cloakroom space and easy one-level disabled access.  It can be set up for meetings for 6 to 60 seated; and 100 standing.  There is a sprung wooden floor, sound proof plain white walls, and adaptable lighting.

The Auditorium
An adaptable space that can offer:

• theatre-style auditorium seating 200 with stage area
• ballroom with dancing space for 100
• state of the art cinema/DVD with surround sound
• technician, sound and lighting
